Ingrid Rasmussen

VP, Finance and Operations

Ingrid Rasmussen is the Vice President of Finance and Operations at the Heron Foundation.  She implements and manages financial and accounting processes at Heron, and provides financial planning and analysis to help support Heron and its mission.  Prior to joining Heron, Ingrid was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Helmsley Charitable Trust, where she created tools and processes to manage Trust-wide grant and operating activity. Before this, she was V.P. of Finance at Nonprofit Finance Fund. Ingrid received her B.A. from Tufts University in International Relations, and her M.A. in International Development/Development Economics from American University.

Ingrid is a board member and serves as Treasurer at Bronx House, a multi-service, community-based organization serving the north Bronx; a board member and member of the Finance Committee at Hot Bread Kitchen, a non-profit social enterprise bakery and incubator that trains and creates professional opportunities for immigrant women; a board member and member of the Finance Committee at New Community Corporation, one of the largest and most comprehensive community development organizations in the United States, serving Newark, NJ; and a board member and member of the Finance Committee at Stevens Cooperative School, a cooperative school based in Hoboken, NJ.
