Mary Jo Mullan

Mary Jo Mullan currently serves as a consultant in philanthropy, advising private donors. Prior consulting engagements include with the Tides Foundation and Atlantic Philanthropies. She previously served for 17 years in various capacities at the F.B. Heron Foundation and nine years at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation. In addition, she led an office of the Federal District Court charged with monitoring conditions of confinement in NYC jails, and has served on a number of nonprofit boards. She holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law. Mary Jo lives in the Lower Hudson Valley with her husband and two no-account, rescued mutts.
